Kids Summer Creative Series - Wednesdays, July 22, 29, Aug 5, 6-6:50pm

Looking for a fun, creative, no-screens experience for the summer? Come to one (or two, or all three!) of our Kids Summer Creative classes. Great for kids ages 6+.

July 22: Flower Arrangement. Students will be guided to create beautiful arrangements! Students will use a variety of flowers and materials (such as child-safe vases, gems for the bottoms of the vases, and ribbons) in order to create their designs

July 29: Patriotic Bear. Inspired by the Ralph Lauren bear and America's 250th anniversary, students will create an adorable bear using white and red carnations in the second class of this series. After arranging the bear, students will blue flower paint to fashion patriotic patterns on the carnations making for a stunning centerpiece.

August 5: Floral Skin. Students will design a “floral skin,” a fun, new way to wear flowers! The “skin” can be worn on an arm or leg. 

Meet our Instructor

Hello! My name is Bryan. I am thrilled to be teaching these Summer Creative Series sessions, combining two of my favorite things… flowers and teaching! By day, I am a kindergarten teacher. I’ve loved playing with flowers since I was a child, always picking flowers from my grandparents’ garden and making all sorts of arrangements. Throughout the past few years, flower arranging has become more than a hobby for me as I have designed florals for events, both on my own and with a local florist. I am beyond excited to share that love and creativity with school-age students through the Flower & Twine community. I am looking forward to meeting you!
